Applications
Methane is the major component of natural gas.
It is the starting material for ammonia, ethanol, methanol, methyl chloride, chloroform and numerous other chemicals.
Methane is used in the conversion of coal to liquid fuels.
Methane can also be used as a calibration gas for air and in automobile emission monitoring.

Cylinder must be stored and used in an upright, secured position in a well-ventilated or monitored area.
Always follow local fire code requirements when storing gas cylinders.
